The Phoenix Art Museum has invited the community to a free admission First Friday art event.

Experience an unforgettable night of art, dance, music, and cultural celebration at PhxArt AfterHours! Visitors enjoy free admission all night, in celebration of special-exhibition Juan Francisco Elso: Por América.

In addition to free admission to every exhibition:

• Experience the vibrant rhythm of Bachata and dance with In Lak’ech Dance Academy, featuring empowering lessons and an energetic social gathering, fostering connections and celebrating Latinx traditions in a safe and welcoming environment.
• Ignite the dance floor with Que Candela Dance Co., Phoenix’s premier dance company offering Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, Hip Hop, and more, with captivating pop-up performances in Cummings Great Hall.
• Discover the power of poetry with Mujeres Del Sol, a collective founded in 2012 to support and empower women and girls as artists, writers, poets, and storytellers, celebrating sisterhood and diverse cultural communities through their transformative works.
• Join us for a workshop in the garden with local artist Estrella Esquilín. Discover the rich combination of Sonoran Desert and Caribbean influences while learning the collagraph printmaking technique and creating your own unique tote bag to take home.
• Join artist Aileen Martinez for an immersive sketching experience in the galleries as you explore the exhibition Migration Stories: Arizona Collects Cuban Art.
• Experience the captivating sounds of Kapsol Music, a dynamic duo from the local Phoenix music scene that performs an eclectic fusion of Afrobeat, jazz, pop, Latin, and R&B melodies.
• Savor the delicious flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine from the El New Yorican food truck, and more!
