See the World Summer Stay-Cation Film Festival

The best summer getaway is right in your own backyard! Phoenix Art Museum invites you to sit back, relax and explore the world through cinema, no road-trip or plane tickets needed. With a lineup of three independent films exploring themes of perspectives of social justice, political resistance and cultural identity (Big Mountain, Diné Bikéyah); mysticism, tradition, and the fantasy of celebrity (Recommended by Enrique); obsession, passion and the unrealized dream (Persistence of Vision), the See the World Summer Stay-cation Film Festival will broaden your scope of reality (and film) without having to leave Phoenix. Come for one or stay for all three!

    SCHEDULE:

    1pm: Recommended by Enrique (run-time 87 minutes)
    3pm: Persistence of Vision (run-time 83 minutes)
