PhxArt AfterHours: PAPARAZZI

On April First Friday, PhxArt AfterHours: PAPARAZZI activates our galleries with live music, art-making workshops, specialty food and drink experiences, and more, all inspired by our newest photography exhibition co-organized with the Center for Creative Photography—Fashioning Self: The Photography of Everyday Expression. In addition to free admission to every exhibition, the evening will feature:

• Ten Tiny Dances® pop-up performances on a 4’x4’ stage across the Museum, presented by CONDER/dance
• Music by DJ LittleOffOfCenter and DJ Alex Castles
• A workshop on how to pose for the perfect photo with members from Style Line Magazine + the opportunity to have your photo featured in Fashioning Self on a rotating display of social media images
• The soulful melodies and rhythmic beats of talented local jazz students from The Nash
• Live in-gallery sketching with the Garment League and Tricee Thomas
• A Lemon Art Research Library pop-up featuring fashion magazines and books
• Specialty food and beverage experiences with ArtTenders, Palette Restaurant, Beignet Babe, and StrEAT Gyros
• And much more!

Four times a year, Phoenix Art Museum opens for free after dark for PhxArt AfterHours, activated by live music, art-making workshops, specialty food and drink experiences, and other performances and entertainment. Visit the Museum during an AfterHours event to expand the way you interact with art.
