Up to three finalists will be selected and paid a $1,500.00 stipend to do an in-person site visit and interview for a permanent public art installation at Fire Station 612. This project has a budget of $83,000.

The scope for this public art project focuses on the selected Artist designing, engineering, fabricating, and installing exterior art panels, with the potential for other artistic features, at Fire Station 612. The panels will be architecturally integrated into the façade of the building; coordination with the project Architect is required. Panels should provide varying degrees of screening/privacy for the areas behind. The theming and style of the artwork is open to the artist’s input; however, the setting and usage of this Scottsdale site should be considered.
