CALL TO ARTISTS: Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture – Public Art In Phoenix Project

The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture, in partnership with City of Phoenix Water Service Department, is seeking professional artists to work with the community to design improvements at 6 City of Phoenix Well Sites at multiple locations throughout the city of Phoenix. Enhancements will serve to improve the appearance, safety and security of each site.

Deadline to Apply: Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11:59pm

How to Apply:  Interested professional artists are asked to submit (via CaFE at https://tinyurl.com/PhxWellSiteProjects) one current resume; a one-page (no more than 200 words) letter of interest; up to ten (10) images of artwork demonstrating the ability to design, create, and install exemplary work; an annotated slide sheet; and contact information for three professional references.

A Pre-Submission Information is scheduled for THIS Thursday, July 19 from 6 – 7 p.m. at Burton Barr Central Library.

Additional open work sessions for one-on-one assistance with CaFE (online submission platform) will be held on:

Saturday, July 28, 10 a.m – 3 p.m. (South Mountain Community Library Meeting Room)

August 16, 4 – 7 p.m. (Desert Broom Library Meeting Room)
