Nominations for 2021 National Medal of Arts

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced on February 12, 2021 that nominations for the 2021 National Medal of Arts are being accepted on the NEA website.  The public is invited to submit nominations using this form.  Submission deadline for nominations is March 15, 2021.

The National Medal of Arts is a White House program administered in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.  It is the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the US government.  The National Medal of Arts is awarded by the US president to individuals or groups who “…are deserving of special recognition by reason of their outstanding contributions to the excellence, growth, support and availability of the arts in the United States.”
