First Friday: April 4, 2025

For thirty years, people in Phoenix have enjoyed what has become one of the largest art walks in the country.  Get out on April 4, 2024 and experience the downtown Phoenix arts district’s monthly First Friday event.  Visit art galleries, restaurants, bars, boutiques, and street art displays on Roosevelt Row and the Grand Avenue arts districts.

This is a free event.  Admission to the Phoenix Art Museum and the Children’s Museum is also FREE on First Friday!

First Fridays continues to bring people back to downtown Phoenix. The event draws up to 20,000 visitors monthly. Third Fridays, also known as “Gallery Night” came later, and is so named because of the number of exhibition openings that take place.
