    AN EXHIBITION ON FREEDOM, JUSTICE & THE STATE OF OUR DEMOCRACY

    Arizona Latino Arts and Cultural Center (ALAC)

    Art Exhibition Dates: February 7, 2025 to March 3, 2025
    Date: Opening Reception, February 7, 2025, 6pm – 12 am
    Location: ALAC 147 E. Adams Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004

    Exhibition Theme:  ALAC Mission
    Proposals for the current exhibition are now being accepted. Artists working at all levels of their career are
    invited to submit work for consideration. ALAC is open to the general public and provides artists with an
    exceptional opportunity for exposure. ALAC is committed to creating a legacy of Latino arts and culture.
    Artists are encouraged to submit 1 to 6 pieces of their personal artwork.

    The qualifications for this exhibit are that the art piece(s) are original. We accept any medium: photography,
    sculptures, ceramics, paintings, drawings or multimedia works. Your expression can be abstract, surreal,
    impressionist, etc. The works for this exhibit should reflect the artist’s perspective on the state of democracy
    in America or around the world. Works from artists of all genders, ethnicities, national origins, and
    orientations are welcome.

    Opening night reception of the exhibit will include performances by artists of PERFORMING DEMOCRACY,
    a mix of poetry, theater and dance. The opening night performances will be free to attend, but a $15 per
    person admission fee will be accessed for the performances scheduled for the following weekend (Feb,
    14-16, 2025).

    Arizona Latino Arts and Cultural Center (ALAC) is a coalition of Latino artists and art organizations that celebrate and promote the Latino presence in Arizona.
