True Fresco or Buon Fresco is one of the oldest decorative and artistic techniques of the world and one of the most respected. The paint quality in well executed frescoes is notable, especially when compared with other mural processes. The process itself is simple and direct, having changed a little, if any, in the thousand of years it has been used, but it does require the most expert and skilled craftsmanship. Fresco painting is a challenging, time consuming, and very effective method in realizing the beauty and commitment, and there are very few contemporary artists who are trained in this method.
