Furry Friends Fine Arts Festival

In February Schemer Arts Center will their 10th Annual Furry Friends Fine Arts Festival, voted Best Art Festival by the Phoenix New Times.

This is a fun, animal-themed arts festival to be held on February 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Highlights include juried artists who will showcase animal-themed drawings, photography, ceramics, and more. Paw readings, paw prints and pet adoptions, business vendors, live music, entertainment (including dog carting parades, contests and tricks), an art raffle, and food & beverage vendors are planned that will make it a “dog-gone” fun day to remember!

Online Submissions now being accepted

Media:  Animal-themed works of art created by Arizona artists in all media, that can be set up for sale in a 10’ x 10’ tent outdoors.  Media can include metal, wood, ceramic, glass, oil, acrylic, graphite, watercolor, pastel, colored pencil & photography. Functional as well as non-functional items are accepted.

Submission Deadline:  January 28 by 5:00 PM 

Submission Details:  Submit up to three artworks in digital format for the jury process.  Images must be jpg format.  A $25 application fee is required.
